Thrilling Prabhas Actioner Reaches Rs 600 Crore Club Globally on Day 11

Prabhas’ action-packed extravaganza, “Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire,” has become a box office juggernaut, not only conquering the Indian market but also crossing the prestigious Rs 600 crore milestone worldwide within just 11 days of its release.

Domestic Box Office Records Shattered

Released on December 22, “Salaar” has dominated the Indian box office. Directed by Prashanth Neel and featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles, the film has amassed a staggering Rs 360.82 crore net in just eleven days.

Strong Opening and Steady Performance

“Salaar” opened with a bang, raking in Rs 90.7 crore net on its first day. The film maintained its momentum, exceeding Rs 209.1 crore net by the end of its first weekend and surpassing Rs 308 crore net after its first week. Consistent performances over the past two days, with daily collections hovering around Rs 15 crore net, further cemented its success. On New Year’s Eve, the film added another Rs 15.55 crore net to its impressive tally, pushing the total to Rs 360.82 crore net in India.

Audience Captivated

“Salaar: Ceasefire – Part 1” continues to draw strong audience response across regions. On New Year’s Day, the film recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 48.75%, 16.32% in Malayalam, 20.26% in Tamil, 15.38% in Kannada, and 28.03% in Hindi.

Global Box Office Triumph

“Salaar” crossed the coveted Rs 600 crore club worldwide within ten days of its release, a feat achieved by only a handful of Indian films. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan celebrated this achievement, stating, “#SalaarCeaseFire ENTERS the PRESTIGIOUS Rs 600 club in just 10 days of run. After Baahubali and Baahubali2, Prabhas is ranked third.”

Future Prospects: Aiming for Rs 700 Crore

The official “Salaar” Instagram page hints at even greater ambitions, suggesting the film could break records and reach the Rs 700-crore mark worldwide.
