Sarhadein” Wins Jury Special Spotlight Award at DCSAFF 2025

Sarhadein received the Jury Special Spotlight Award at the 14th Annual DC South Asian Film Festival (DCSAFF) — a beautifully organized event by Geeta Manoj Singh and Manoj Singh.

Directed by Mansoor Qureshi and Syed Arshi Ali, Sarhadein tells the story of two friends — one Indian, one Pakistani — whose bond is tested by rivalry, love, and identity. With humor and heart, the film delivers a powerful message: “Borders may divide countries, but they can never divide hearts.”

Following massive success in India and streaming to over 300 million viewers on Apple TV and Google TV, Sarhadein made its U.S. premiere at DCSAFF to packed audiences and glowing reviews. Dignitaries like Secretary of Trade & Commerce Juan Pablo Segura, along with community leaders and diaspora members, were in attendance.

Special thanks to our cast, crew, AnnaSudha Community Kitchens, and Esha Bargate Productions for their role in this global journey. With more films on the way, we’re just getting started.
